reimagining sex ed

Let's Repair your Sex Ethic
A pair of feet are partially visible on a grey bedsheet covered with a white comforter and grey fuzzy blanket.
A yellow banana and green cucumber lie on a planner next to one another. A pen and notepad are visible in the background.
At a marble countertop, a woman's arms clad in a sweatshirt are visible. There is a ring on her left hand and a pen in her right. A full cup of coffee sits to the right, and a stack of notebooks, pens, and Bible highlighters are visible.

At The Sex Talk Shop, we believe education and community are the keys to building a better, more Biblical sex ethic. Our whole-body approach to sex ed is meant for you - the curious, the questioning, the confused, and the Christian.

Book A Session

About Us

Dressed in a white v-neck tee, a woman sits up in bed covered with a white comforter. Her head is turned to the right and her hair is flying straight out. There are white and grey pillows in the background.
Five hardcover books sit on a marble countertop. The bottom three books have the pages facing the camera and the top two spines are visible. One is a hymnal and the other is plain.

Our Story

The Sex Talk Shop was founded by Knotty Living Blog to give these deep topics a dedicated space. What started as a desire to correct and reframe misused Bible verses quickly grew to an educational platform advocating for whole-body theology, Biblical sex ethics, and loosing the chains of religion around all sex topics. Today, we continue to challenge Christian norms and push for candid conversations about all sex ed and ethic topics, including anatomy, consent, painful sex, and personhood (to name a few).

Our Work

Our Mission

At The Sex Talk Shop, we're on a mission to make sex ed as approachable as your morning coffee - all while keeping it science-backed, practical, and downright binge-worthy.

Blog

We believe that education and resources should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. That's why we're committed to publishing free and digestible articles to help you on your learning journey.

From practical tidbits to translated research to interviews with folks on a journey to reclaim and relearn, our blog is the ultimate resource library!

Workbooks

We know that applying what we learn can be confusing and sometimes, processing new and important information can be intimidating.

Our workbooks are designed to not only give you information, but help you think through it, process it, and apply it. All without telling you what and how to believe!

A notebook full of writing lies on a countertop with pens and Bible highlighters stacked on top. A woman's hands are blurred in the background holding two journals and a Bible.
A woman in a waffle texture sweater holds a pen and is writing on a notepad. She is holding a phone to her left ear and her lips are pursed as she speaks.

Calls

Often, the only bridge between where we are and where we want to be is a conversation. A chance to verbally process, be heard, and maybe even receive a much-needed different perspective.

At The Sex Talk Shop, we know that bridge well, and we're committed to listening and having the conversation *you* need.
